Elizabeth Clarke, J.D.
Beth Clarke has been involved with horses all of her life and has been a serious student of dressage for many years, riding with some of America’s best trainers. A graduate of the University of Virginia Law School, she practiced corporate law for a few years and served a brief tenure as Director of Dressage for the United States Equestrian Team before establishing her own law practice. She has taught equine specific business and law courses at the college level and published many articles on the business side of horses. Her current law practice is concentrated on individual and small business management services, contracts, estate planning and alternative dispute resolution. Her clients include some of the country’s top dressage riders, sport horse breeding and training farms, veterinary practices, as well as other busy individuals and their businesses. She lives in Hatfield, Massachusetts with her son, Paul, and a variety of animals, including three ponies.
