The Norwegian Fjord Horse Alliance Wendy Luscombe Memorial D4K Scholarship
The Norwegian Fjord Horse Alliance (NFHA) is offering a $250 scholarship. Scholarship recipient must be a youth who is riding a Norwegian Fjord at the 2026 D4K Lendon's Youth Dressage Festival at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown, NJ.
Show: Dressage4Kids Lendon's Youth Dressage Festival
Dates scholarship to be used: Friday, August 7, 2026 - Sunday, August 9, 2026
Location of Show: Horse Park of New Jersey, Allentown, New Jersey
The scholarship may be used to offset expenses for traveling to the show, stabling, and entry fees and is contingent on successfully riding and participating at the 2026 D4K Youth Dressage Festival show at any level.
Requirements:
- Norwegian Fjord Horse Alliance membership (single, family or youth)
- Completion of application by deadline July 1, 2026, and sent to: Curtis Pierce, 537 Fjord Ridge Dr, Mathias, WV, 26812

- Show a Norwegian Fjord Horse (please send photo with application)
- Applications open May 1, 2026
- Winner will be announced July 5, 2026
Within ten-days of the show, scholarship award winners are asked to write a short article about his/her experiences at the show including a photo. At that time, the check will be mailed to the recipient.
